To efficiently and effectively coordinate the front desk activities. These include answering a multi-line phone, responding to student, parent, and staff needs, and managing enrollment documents, attendance, and records requests, among other duties.
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma/Trade School degree preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Bilingual Preferred
Ability to work well with children
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to multitask efficiently
Experience:
Some experience working with children
Receptionist/customer service and computer experience required.
At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Act as first contact between students, parents, and guests entering the campus
2. Answers multi-line telephone system and refers calls to the proper person
3. Performs background checks for all parents and guests entering the building
4. Enrolls, maintains, and withdraws student demographic data in the student information system and student
cumulative folder; notifies appropriate district personnel
5. Ensures teachers record student daily attendance on time and contact parents regarding absences
6. Performs data processing and clerical functions as assigned to include tardies, absences and grade
reports
7. Performs such other tasks in line with the position as assigned by the campus leadership
8. Performs first aid and clinic responsibilities, including administering student medication as needed
9. Other duties as assigned
